Student Representative Council (SRC)

 

SRC members are a dedicated hard working team of volunteers who, under guidance of Ms McBeath, give of their own time to contribute to making a difference at SGHS… and have fun along the way!  The 2016 members can be viewed on the following link
Each year we set goals at our camp and then work toward achieving them.
These goals include:

  • Leadership skill training and opportunities
  • Representation
  • Fundraising, for school improvement projects and charities local and community.

Leadership skill training and opportunities are a major part of the SRC experience some of the opportunities include:

  • Annual Training Camp
  • State SRC Action Team
  • State SRC Conference
  • Youth Parliament
  • Rotary Transition Camp
  • Junior Observers for Bendigo Bank Board
  • Parliamentary Visit
  • Human Rights Forum in Lismore

The SRC Also is involved in many Charity Events such as:

  • Shave For a Cure
  • Relay for Life
  • World Vision 40 hr Famine
  • Mother and Father’s day stalls
  • Bandana Day
