Carla Ryan of year 11 has been accepted in the 2017 University of New South Wales (UNSW) Indigenous Winter School for Visual Arts. The theme of this years program is ‘Change’ and participants are encouraged to think about how to make the world a better place; and how they can contribute positively to outcomes for Indigenous Australians.

Carla will be flown to Sydney by Nura Gili, the Indigenous Programs unit at UNSW, where she will attend a week long residential program that gives student an insight into university life, participating in academic lectures and tutorials, presentations, study sessions, team building activities, interacting with university staff, current students and fellow applicants, cultural activities and more.
