During the recent school holidays, SGHS student Scott Rose attended the National Computer Science Summer School at the University of Sydney.

The ten-day intensive course included university style lectures and project-based learning, where students learnt about computer programming, web design and other related skills. Students were also given guided tours of industry workplaces, such as Google, WiseTech Global and Atlassian.

Any student going in to years 11 or 12 are eligible to apply for the program, which is an excellent way learn more about occupations in STEM.
